Health Certificates
Paw PrintWill I need one?
  • If traveling by air, the airline will require one.
  • If traveling by vehicle, it's a must if traveling outside the country.
Paw PrintYour Vet can provide a certificate indicating the health and inoculation status of your pet.
Paw PrintAn examination must be performed before issuing such a certificate and the health certificate is valid for 30 days.
Paw PrintIn addition, your destination state may require a current rabies tag on your pet or an accompanying current rabies certificate.
Paw PrintWhen you come to the veterinary clinic for your office visit/ health certificate examination be prepared by having your destination address as it will be required for the certificate.
Paw PrintKeep this certificate with your travel papers.


Identification For Your Pet
ID TagBefore your pet travels, make sure he/she is properly identified.
ID TagYour pet should wear an ID tag, rabies tag and/or state license tag. If he/she becomes separated from you, this allows your pet to be properly identified and returned to you.
